Decked Out: Full-Scope Creative & Digital Strategy for Four Horsemen
This case study highlights an evolving partnership with Four Horsemen Comics & Gaming, a regional leader in trading card games like Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh!. What began as a request for updated team headshots grew into a multi-phase collaboration—spanning branded content, video production, and technical consulting for advertising and analytics infrastructure.
My work with Four Horsemen includes photography, short-form video, animation, and strategic advising on ad platforms like Meta and Google, helping bridge creative execution with performance outcomes.

Short-Form Video Production
Magic The Gathering Wilds of Eldraine Pre-Release recap + evergreen promo
This piece was designed to capture the energy, atmosphere, and community behind one of Four Horsemen’s Magic: The Gathering tournaments. In addition to event coverage, the piece incorporates cinematic brand interstitials, using a stylized lighting setup on the shop’s logo to create a strong visual identity and set the tone from the first frame. The final edit blends live gameplay, crowd energy, and atmospheric shots into a cohesive promo that’s been used across social media, paid placements
Lost Caverns of Ixalan pre-release promoS
For this set release, I produced a series of Jurassic Park–inspired promos that leaned into the prehistoric themes of Lost Caverns of Ixalan. The content mixed original footage, cinematic sound design, and motion graphics to build suspense and excitement around the upcoming pre-release event.
Yu-Gi-Oh! WCQ Regional recap
For this major regional Yu-Gi-Oh! event, I captured b-roll, photos, and interviews throughout the tournament day, later editing a highlight recap video suitable for both Four Horsemen’s channels and distribution to vendor partner Konami.
The content emphasized the tournament’s scale, competitive atmosphere, and community connection, serving as a showcase of the store’s event-hosting capabilities.
Star Wars: Unlimited qualifier promos
I created two animated video promos inspired by the cinematic legacy of the franchise:
• Version 1 mimics the classic opening crawl experience, complete with fanfare, a Four Horsemen-branded logo entrance, a dramatic yellow text crawl, and a pan-down space sequence that transitions to reveal the Four Horsemen logo—mirroring the familiar film intros to engage longtime fans.
• Version 2 takes a minimalist, high-impact approach: the same opening fanfare and logo entrance are used, but instead of a text crawl, bold, timed horn blasts reveal key event info and the Four Horsemen logo in sequence, ideal for short-form and mobile-first viewing.
Both promos were designed to grab attention instantly, reinforce the event’s thematic tone, and drive registrations across social and paid platforms.
