WVU REYNOLDS HALL STORY

As part of a high-profile editorial feature for WVU’s alumni magazine, I was commissioned to capture Bob and Laura Reynolds in their Boston home and office. The story centered around the couple’s $10 million gift to West Virginia University, which catalyzed the creation of Reynolds Hall — a next-generation academic hub designed to transform business education and regional economic development.

MY ROLE:

I served as the lead (and sole) photographer on this assignment, managing all aspects of production:

• Location scouting and lighting adjustments on-site

• Direction and composition of posed portraits

• Candid documentary-style shooting during interviews

• Post-production editing, color grading, and delivery for publication

These assets were published alongside the feature titled “Tomorrow Is What You Dream About,” the cover story for WVU Magazine's January 2022 edition.

FOUR HORSEMEN COMICS & GAMING

My work with Four Horsemen began with a request for updated team portraits and headshots that could serve both internal and promotional purposes. As a locally beloved comics and gaming shop with a strong regional presence, the Four Horsemen team wanted photography that felt polished but authentic — reflecting the culture of the shop while meeting the needs of commercial branding.

My Role:

I led the shoot from pre-production through delivery:

• Consulted on visual direction and styling

• Scouted and staged backdrops on-site

• Directed and captured portraits of all team members

• Edited, retouched, and delivered final commercial-ready assets
